The manufacturing in India is done through Tirupati Wellness LLP (FSSAI Lic no.-10016062000334) at Surajpur, Nahan Road, Paonta Sahib, Dist. Sirmour, Himachal Pradesh, India – 173025.While Optimum Nutrition is still marketed by the Brand Owner Glanbia Performance Nutrition (India) Pvt. Ltd. (FSSAI Lic no.-10017011004358) while imported/distributed by Bright Performance Nutrition in India.

The company which was laying low on its Indian manufacturing has now officially announced the products they are manufacturing locally in India which are –

• Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein in Double Rich Chocolate and Vanilla Ice Cream Flavour
• Optimum Nutrition Serious Mass in Chocolate and Vanilla Flavour
• Optimum Nutrition Aspac Whey in Chocolate Flavour

Till Date. Glanbia will still be importing other Flavours for ON Gold Standard 100% Whey.

Another thing which is to be looked forward to is can Glanbia maintain the same standards & quality of the supplements which it had earlier when imported to that of the Indian manufactured one. The packaging quality meanwhile doesn’t seem to win over the imported one (Images attached). Let’s wait & watch how the customers react to this major shift.

The new Packaging of Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey Protein manufactured in India doesn’t have an importer label separately now but still carry forwards the “TRU SEAL” sticker for authentication. The brand details, manufacturer details, marketed by details all are now printed on the product label itself along with batch number & expiry which can be seen in the images attached below.

As per our experience, the clientele of Optimum Nutrition has always been new fitness enthusiasts or Elite, the customer loyalty frame to Optimum Nutrition has always been on the higher side when compared to any other brand, but will they lose their sales/quality/prestige upon manufacturing in India will be seen in the coming months. While the launching/current reaction of the customers is about the pricing which is still the same and not reduced even after manufacturing it locally.
